RWANDA ACCUSERS

Paul Kagame, the president of Rwanda is being accused of helping to orchestrate to the genocide by killing both the former president of Rwanda, and the former president of Burundi in 1994. This was the springboard which led to over 1 million people(innocent tutsi's and moderate Hutu's unwilling to kill) being slaughtered. but in actuality Paul Kagame was a Tutsi refugee to Uganda who immediately sent a message out to his own people to have hope because he was coming and would fight to the death to free his people and end the genocide. Could this be an evil deed by Paul Kagame to claim the presidency of Rwanda. NO, because Paul Kagame didn't want the presidency. He help elect another president to run Rwanda. It wasn't until about 2000, that Mr. Kagame was elected the president of Rwanda, 6 years later. He had the perfect opportunity and many many supporters to his claim if he had wanted the presidency in 94. Paul was a Tutsi and the Tutsi's were the original victims. Hutu's were only in danger of slaughter if they were unwilling to kill. Paul was safe in Uganda. Why would he risk his life to save his people if he had signed their death warrants. There was no guarantee that he wouldn't be killed trying.

The accusers of President Kagame: The French.

The French helped supply the weapons that were used in the Genocide. The very weapons used to kill innocent men, woman and children were funded by the French. Now, I am not saying that it is entirely the fault of the French, because the killers would have found any weapons they could to use and the French probably didn't know what the weapons were being used for. Also the French were in Rwanda towards the end of the Genocide but they did  pull out shortly before it officially ended leaving refugees in the French camp to survive by themselves. But if there was any chance that I was in any way responsible, even innocently, in such a mass murder, I would never accuse anyone who certainly did END the mass murder.

Please Pray for Paul Kagame, his wife Jeanette and their family.

So for those of you who dont already know, I have started working at TOP food and Drug. YUP Variety Clerk. I stock the hygiene products, teeth care; baby products and lots of other stuff. Pretty much everything that isnt groceries. I work from 5 in the morning to 12:30 in the afternoon.

I am planning on going to a short term missionary school because I still feel a strong call to Rwanda. The job at Top is simply to finance my long terms goals.

The question of the day is: Is there such a thing as conditional love? If you truly love someone, how can it be conditional? Wouldnt it be lust then?

Top ten things I am enjoying in life right now:

1. Jesus Christ: He is my savior. He is my protector. He has blessed me richly indeed. I enjoy our relationship which includes prayer, worship, and so much more that would take me forever to name.

2. My mom. She is the most patient, loving woman I know. I am almost 18 years old and my mom is one of the closest people to me.

3. Hannah; Kyle; Mary Beth; Melissa A; Michele and Ashley S: I love you guys so dearly. I am priveledged to call you my friends.

4. Dancing. I went to the most amazing dance last night. I danced with some pretty cool people. I love dancing.

5. Babies: I love babies. They are truly a gift from God and show one of his true miracles.

6. School: I really dislike school, but I have come to realize how busy it keeps me. I have too much work to do to be lazy all day.

7. Rwanda: My beloved country. From the moment I heard about this country, I was captivated. When I had the opportunity to visit in May/June 2006, I practically died with anticipation. When I arrived, I didn't want to leave. Now that I am home, I miss Rwanda and its incredibly special people terribly. I am planning my return trip.

8. Thanksgiving of course. I miss the family time. I am a true Oregonian at heart(born and raised till age 9) and my dad's family lives there. The most solid opportunity I have to visit Oregon is for thanksgiving.

9. My neice Zoe(03) and Asher (06). They are the apples of my eyes. My adorable darlings.

10. Books: I love to read.

Currently Reading: Exploring Psychology

Hey my friends! Wow, I havent updated for a very long time. Life has been very very busy. My very best friend Hannah Byers came back shortly after I arrived home from Africa. I spent as much time as possible with her before she headed to New York for college. I had planned on heading back over to Rwanda for a year before college but I am no longer quite so sure that is God's will for me. I am looking at colleges and seeing really what is out there. Please pray for me as I pray and cry out to God for his will to be revealed to me.
